Last night, I had the privilege of shooting the DART candle light vigil and gallery showing of the Bleating Hearts art exhibit. I say privilege because it was an honor to stand among so many strong women who've decided to speak out against domestic violence.

karate class

A few weeks ago, I was given an assignment to take pictures of a karate class in Memorial Gym. It turned out to be a lot of fun. The teacher was super kind, telling me all about the different colored belts and all the places the karate team has traveled. He kept asking the students to show off their moves for the camera and telling me just where to stand to get a good shot. here's a few snaps from that day.
